Prince Harry’s racism claims that Prince Charles was ‘greatly let down’ by Meghan Markle

Prince Charles is still upset about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s accusations of racism during their bombing interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The couple, who left their jobs as working members of the British royal family in 2020, told Winfrey that there were talks about how dark their son’s skin color would be.

Charles, who is first in line to the British throne, is one of several senior royals whose name still appears on social media and press because he may be the mysterious family member.

The British monarch “feels greatly let down” by the allegations in the interview, a source close to the royals told People.

“The prince believes in diversity and his actions show it,” the source said. ‘He was the first person to emphasize the Windrush generation [the first mass immigration from the Caribbean to the U.K. in the 1950s] and the contributions they made to British society. He worked hard for the Muslim community. Of all the members of the royal family, he took this matter most seriously. ‘

The source reflects what a longtime friend of the royal family told royal expert Katie Nicholl earlier this month.

According to Nicholl, Charles is aware of the shocking accusations made by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex during the television interview, which first aired on March 7.

“There is not a racist bone in his body and to indicate that it is different is very painful,” the friend urged Nicholl.

While Markle, 39, and Harry, 36, refused to identify the person who made the remarks, the prince told Winfrey outside the camera that it was not his grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
