Prince Harry scurries to return home for Prince Philip’s funeral

Prince Harry called several members of Britain’s royal family – including his father, Prince Charles – as he scrambled to return to his homeland for the funeral services of his grandfather, Prince Philip.

According to Royal Insiders, Harry, 36, is ‘united in grief’ with his family – just one month after he and his wife Meghan Markle sat down for an ongoing Oprah Winfrey interview that left deep rifts between him and Buckingham Palace.

Harry called his cousins Beatrice and Eugenie on Friday, a source told the Mirror to tell them about his plans.

“He said he wanted to be with everyone and had already made arrangements to come home,” the insider said.

This will be Harry’s first return to Britain since he and Markle landed in California a year ago – and he will travel alone, according to sources, with his wife in her final months of pregnancy.
