At the time, a source told us: ‘It is fully equipped for a new family and a new baby. It’s still Meghan and Harry’s UK residence. They will still stay there when they return, but they are delighted to be able to open their home to Princess Eugenie and Jack while starting their own family. ”

Harry and Markle refurbished Frogmore for about $ 3 million in taxpayer funds, although they announced plans to reimburse Britain for the cost.

The couple lived in the cottage for less than six months before moving to Canada and then Montecito, California.

Harry flew to Heathrow Airport in London on Sunday and is currently in quarantine in Frogmore according to British rules ahead of Philip’s funeral on Saturday.

Former British Prime Minister Sir John Major told the BBC on Sunday that the funeral would be the perfect time to end the family breakup.

Major – who was appointed special guardian for the princes in 1997 after the death of their mother, Princess Diana, in 1997 – told BBC One’s’ Andrew Marr Show ‘:’ The friction we have been told is a friction that can better be terminated as quickly as possible. ”
