Prince Harry reportedly arrived at Heathrow Airport from Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon ahead of his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral in six days.
Harry’s arrival in London at around 13:15 local time was his first time leaving the royal family.
The prince, who was chopped off the tarmac in a black Range Rover, was wearing chinos, a jacket and a black face mask, sources told The Sun.
He is expected to spend time in quarantine before attending the funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh on Saturday – which is expected to be a muted affair due to the coronavirus.
Only thirty people will attend the ceremony, in line with the country’s strict restrictions on group gatherings.
However, Harry will be wearing his military uniform during the event, The Sun said. He may no longer be in uniform, as he relinquished his honorary titles last year when he retired from the royal family.
Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince Edward are all expected to wear ceremonial outfits, the Sun said – while Prince Andrew will wear a suit after retiring from public life over his association with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle (39), will reportedly not attend – because she is pregnant.
