Prince Harry is back in the UK to attend the funeral of his late grandfather, Prince Philip, who passed away on Friday at the age of 99.
People magazine confirmed that he arrived on Sunday and was traveling alone when his wife, Meghan Markle, stayed with their nearly 2-year-old son Archie in California.
The Duchess of Sussex expects to have her second child, a girl, this summer. She was advised by a doctor not to travel.
Buckingham Palace has confirmed that Prince Philip’s funeral will take place on April 17 and that the deceased husband of Queen Elizabeth is currently resting at Windsor Castle.

The funeral will take place in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle at 15:00 UK time (10:00 ET).
“This is a ceremonial royal funeral, the same as for Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, rather than a state funeral – something that is generally reserved for monarchs,” the royal family’s website described. No public access is allowed due to the pandemic.

Harry thanked his grandfather for his service, dedication and that he ‘was always yourself’.
“You will be greatly missed, but always remembered – by the nation and the world. Meghan, Archie and I (as well as your future great-granddaughter) will always occupy a special place for you in our hearts,” the Duke concluded. . “‘Per Mare, Per Terram.'”

The palace confirmed the death of the Duke of Edinburgh on 9 April.

Queen Elizabeth has entered a period of eight days of mourning and will not perform any royal duties.
