Prince Harry and Prince William met for hours in private amid breakup: reported

Prince Harry and his brother, Prince William, spent two hours together behind closed doors after their grandfather’s funeral on Saturday amid their years-long rift, a report said.

A source told The Sun that the warring brothers joined their father, Prince Charles, at Windsor Castle after the royal family laid Prince Philip to rest.

The communication between the three was described by a source as ‘unproductive’, but an insider told the news office that in the midst of the fratricide it could be seen as a step in the right direction.

The feud has escalated following Harry and his wife Meghan Markle’s Oprah Winfrey bombing.

“It’s early days, but you’d hope it’s exactly the first step Philip would have wished for,” a source said at the end of the family’s time.

“It is not known what was said behind closed doors and when the cameras were turned off, but it is unfathomable to think that Megxit and Oprah did not come up,” a source added.

Harry and William were also seen talking in public for a few minutes during the television funeral. But William reportedly requested that they be separated while following the coffin to St George’s Chapel.

Harry is expected to drive home to his pregnant wife on Monday.

In the coming weeks, there will reportedly be another important meeting between the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge, where the two will discuss the future structure of the royal household.

Charles and William will consult with the Queen to determine the number of full-time working members of the royal family and their corresponding duties during the next two generations, sources told The Telegraph.
