It looks like Lil Wayne fell in the federal gun case by no one but the hook President Trump … of whom the rapper is expected to forgive before his term ends.
Trump apparently has a very long list of names for his last round of commuting and pardons – estimated at 50 to 100 people – and according to Fox News … he will announce it in a big unveiling on Tuesday or last, Wednesday morning before Joe Bideninauguration.
If he does, it sounds like people expect Lil Wayne to be a notable beneficiary of a presidential pardon … which you can not help but think is perhaps a thank you to Trump in the days ahead endorsed the 2020 election.

Trump also praised Lil Wayne as activist and a “very nice guy.” Weezy has received a lot of criticism for their pow wow, but it looks like he’s on his way to getting a big reward for it now.
As we reported … Wayne pleaded guilty last month in federal court to illegally possess a loaded weapon while traveling to Miami by private jet a year earlier.
The rapper is a convicted felon, so he faces the possibility of up to ten years in prison in sentencing … although he will likely get far less if he pleads guilty.
Of course, he’s going to get away with it if the presidential pardon comes through … so the last days of Trump’s term will be big for Lil Wayne.
