(CNN Español) – The President of Peru, Francisco Sagasti, announced that 10 regions of the country will be quarantined from the 31st of January to the 14th of February.
The mandate states that the 10 regions where the medium is located are at the “extreme” level of risk with respect to coronavirus.
“This requires confinement, it is said, quarantine”, Sagasti explained in a message to the nation.
These regions are: Lima Metropolitana and Lima Region, Callao, Ancash, Pasco, Huánuco, Junín, Huancavelica, Ica and Apurímac.
Other 9 regions of the country are at the level of “very high” and the rest in “high”. This region is at the “moderate” level.
The restaurants operate solely with the ease of entry to the home and are authorized to pay a deposit once a day. Queda suspended the land transport and interprovincial area, President Sagasti added.
