“I would like to invite all Hondurans without distinction of political party to take part in promoting democracy in transparent elections that will allow people to consider the best candidates for general elections,” he recalled.
New presidential candidates will run in the general elections. Four candidates from the Free Party (Carlos Eduardo Reina, Xiomara Castro, Wilfredo Méndez and Nelson Ávila); dos del Partido Nacional (Nasry Asfura y Mauricio Oliva); three of the Liberal Party (Luis Zelaya, Yani Rosenthal and Darío Banegas).
