DES MOINES, Iowa – Another night, another chance to win a giant lottery jackpot.
Wednesday night’s Powerball jackpot was worth at least $ 550 million. The winning numbers for Wednesday night’s Powerball draw were: 4-19-23-25-49 and a Powerball of 14.
MEGA MILLION JACKPOT SOARS TO HALF A BILLION DOLLARS
The Powerball prize draw comes just a day after no one won a $ 625 million Mega Millions jackpot, raising the prize to $ 750 million before the next draw on Friday night.

The Mega Millions Award is now the fifth largest in American history.
This is only the second time that both national lottery games have raised $ 500 million.
The prices have grown so tremendously because there are months ago that someone matched all six numbers and won both the jackpot. The chances of winning everything are incredibly small, with one out of 292.2 million for Powerball and one out of 302.5 million for Mega Millions.
The jackpots listed by the lotteries are for winners who prefer to be paid by an annuity over 30 years. Almost all winners take the cash option, which is estimated to be $ 411.4 million for Powerball and $ 550.6 million for Mega Millions.

Mega Millions and Powerball are both played in 45 states as well as Washington, DC and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball is also offered in Puerto Rico.
