To be honest, I think here is simply a lot of uncertainty. They brought in a whole handful of players and sent out even more. Some of the players – Djordje Mihailovic and Erik Hurtado – produced good moments in the league.
Unfortunately, that does not change the fact that Montreal is now your friend who has just come out of a relationship with the most attractive person you have ever seen. Like, not that your friend looks bad, but they were like … oh my god. Be honest, your group of friends secretly bet on when it would end, right? Oh, and somewhere along the way in this metaphor, that friend is also forced by mitigating circumstances to buy a time share in Florida. It’s not going great.
But hey, the next person might be better in the long run. They will hopefully return home soon. We’ll just have to see.
