Post a Malone Virtual Concert titled Pokémon Day

The Pokémon Company is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its captivating monsters with a virtual concert titled Post Malone, the company announced Thursday morning with a trailer.

Fans can tune in to Pokémon Day on February 27 to see how a digitized Post Malone honors the Pokémon fandom – and Pokémon itself. The virtual Post Malone show starts at 7pm EST. Fans will be able to watch it via the Pokémon YouTube and Twitch channels, as well as the 25-year-old website.

“I’ve been a Pokémon fan for a long time,” Post Malone said in a news release. “The opportunity to celebrate the 25th year of the Pokémon Day concert is therefore tremendous.”

The Post Malone concert also launches the Pokémon Company’s P25 Music program, where they plan to collaborate with artists like Katy Perry to create new music ‘through the lens of Pokémon’, the company said.

Before the concert, on February 20, Pokémon Go players can sign up for the Tour: Kanto event. Fans will be able to get a Pokémon Company password on the 25th to bring a special kind of Pikachu to their Pokémon Sword & Shield files. This Pikachu gets to know Sing, which is not typical of the electric Pokémon. Fans can watch a marathon of Pokémon animated music series on Pokémon TV before the February 27th concert.

Pokémon fans can also expect additional announcements before and after the Post Malone concert, the Pokémon Company said.
