Possible major event for WWE Fastlane

WWE teased a big event for the team for the upcoming WWE Fastlane pay-per-view.

Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville mentioned during tonight’s WWE SmackDown on FOX that they were considering a Fastlane match with Daniel Bryan and WWE Hall of Famer Edge against Jey Uso and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Edge and Reigns also mention in separate backgrass segments that the game was in the works.

The storyline of tonight’s performance seemed to have been nixed by the tag team’s match when Bryan was booked against Uso as SmackDown’s main event. According to the stipulation, Bryan would have earned a singles title from Reigns on Fastlane if he could have beaten Uso. However, the match between Bryan and Uso on SmackDown ended on Double Count Out and Bryan does not deserve his Fastlane title hold.

WWE did not provide an update on Bryan and Edge vs. Reigns and Uso not, since Bryan vs. Reigns it does not happen, but we will keep you informed.

Fastlane takes place on March 21 from Tropicana Field in St. Louis. Petersburg, Florida farm. This will be the final pay-per-view ahead of WrestleMania 37.

Stay tuned for more information. Below are some recordings from related segments in tonight’s show:
