Popular Nintendo 3DS series is reportedly revived on Switch and PS4

A popular Nintendo 3DS series is reportedly being revived on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, PS4 and PC. As usual, the Digital Game Rating Committee leaked a bunch of games, including some gates for some fantastic Nintendo 3DS games. According to the judging panel from Taiwan, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles – consisting of The Big Ace Lawyer and The Great Ace Attorney 2 – come to the above platforms. And at the moment, these are the only platforms that have been rated. PS5 or any Xbox console is not mentioned.

Unfortunately, that’s all the judging board reveals. There is no question of a release date, but usually, though not always, when a game is rated for release, it is close to release, or at least it is when the ESRB or PEGI. Taiwan is known for judging their games not only by their release but also by their announcement.

In short, while it is possible that Capcom will have an official announcement soon, this assumption is far from a blow. Since nothing here is official and is out of the mouth of Capcom PR, it’s wise to take it all with a grain of salt. That said, if any of this sounds familiar, it’s because the huge Capcom leak last year – which is slowly but surely coming true – contains the word of these two ports.

At the time of publication, Capcom has not commented on this, and it is unlikely that will happen. Like many in the industry, Capcom maintains a fairly strict ‘no comments’ policy regarding leaks, especially from the judging panel. If it makes a comment, we’ll update the story accordingly.
