Poll: What rumors coming Apple Silicon Mac are you most excited to see?

As we reported yesterday, there is a lot to look forward to in the Mac series this year as Apple moves to Apple Silicon processors. From a brand new iMac to new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, Apple will significantly expand Apple Silicon processors this year. Which new Mac are you most looking forward to trying?

Apple Silicon Macs still coming

As we explained in our full coverage yesterday, Apple has a number of new Macs that will still come in with Apple Silicon. These include a brand new iMac with a redesigned form factor, new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, and a new Mac Pro that is about half the current model.

Apple has acknowledged that it will take about two years to switch the entire Mac range to Apple Silicon chips, setting the timeline of the end of the transition to around 2022. We expect the above Macs to be launched slowly over the next two years until the transition is complete.

Personally, I’m very excited to see the brand new iMac. The iMac is my favorite Mac, thanks to the seamless all-in-one design, and I look forward to seeing the brand new design. While the current iMac still looks good, it’s far too late for a redesign, plus the added performance benefits that the Apple Silicon transition will bring.

That being said, I’m also interested in rumors of a cheaper external display and a half – sized Mac mini from Apple. It’s unclear whether these new products will arrive in 2021 or perhaps in 2022, but I’ve been hoping for a cheaper external display from Apple since the 2016 Thunderbolt Display strike.
