Police said the victim of the rape gang (12) was a ‘prostitute’

West Midlands police officers are accused of telling a suspected 12-year-old rape gang victim that she was ‘lying’ about her abuse, and told her mother that she was ‘prostituting herself’.

‘I was 12 or 13 when I went to the police with my mother to report the first rape. But a female police officer accused me of lying and it just broke me. I then went off the rails, ”said the alleged victim, given the pseudonym ‘Karen’ by BirmingahLive, which was targeted by a so-called care gang operating in Walsall.

Her mother told local media that she would “have to pick her up at the police station after being found by them, sometimes at hotels” and that officers told her “we think your daughter is prostituting herself”.

“I could have fallen to my knees at that point because we were talking about a young girl,” she laments.

The allegations reflect many other findings of failure by police, social services and other authorities over the concern over the so-called care gangs, which consist mainly of predators of Mulsim, South Asian heritage mostly targeting white working-class victims.

Police have long feared to tackle the issue, which is ongoing, for fear of being labeled racist, and refused to intervene when underage girls and young women were pimped and raped by dozens of men on due to the fact that they make ‘lifestyle choices’ – despite the fact that sexual relations with minors and especially minors are a criminal matter in all circumstances.

However, West Midlands police were aware of the fact that care gangs operate in Walsall.

“Clusters of offenders have been found in Walsall and in Birmingham East, which also has the highest population of Pakistani communities in the West Midlands,” a 2012 police report acknowledged.

‘The proximity of suspect speaks in […] Walsall suggests that offenders work together in the identification, care and subsequent abuse of vulnerable females, “he added – with the location of the area in question, for whatever reason.

‘Karen’ was also failed by social services, she said, recalling that in 2010 there was a request for social services for help for me, but that was just left. ‘

“After the other incidents happened in 2012, social services said my mother and I could not protect me, and it was basically their fault that happened to me,” she added.

She was then taken from her parents and placed in care, but the abuse continued.

‘[T]he men are still there now, they are still out there and they are still doing the same things as me, with younger girls, ”Karen told BirminghamLive.

In response to the story, police in the West Midlands said that ‘in some historical cases we have had failures in the past’, but insisted that ‘we always strive to place victims at the heart of all our investigations and will lead be by what the victim wants ”- contradicts the victims themselves directly.

Breitbart London is not aware that a single senior police officer or local government official is actually executed for criminal charges, loss of pension or other serious sanctions, despite multiple acknowledgments that care gangs have been able to act with impunity over the years. in many towns and cities.
