Officers who arrived in three police cars descended on a recreation hall after being instructed to have an illegal rave, only to find that it was full of senior citizens who had been vaccinated against the Chinese coronavirus.
While Essex police claim to be responding to reports of ‘congestion’ at Essex Freemasons’ Saxon Hall in Southend on Friday, the chairman of the venue said officers on arrival told him they were coming to an illegal rave investigated.
Dennis Baum tells the Daily Gazette Wednesday: ‘It was very funny when the police arrived there because they were informed that there was a’ rave ‘taking place in Saxon Hall – only to find 80- and 90-year-olds on wheelchairs, frames and walking sticks patiently in the queue stands for their vaccinations.
“Grumpy old men and grumpy old women were in abundance. Nevertheless, as a balance aid, many more appreciative people would no longer be grateful to receive the vaccine and to Saxon Hall and the Freemasons to facilitate it, ”Baum added. Officers then later returned to assist with traffic management.
The report comes after another force of heaviness was accused after 20 West Midlands police officers raided an apartment in Birmingham on the top floor after reports of a party, only to find three people in it, two of whom were residents.
Young YouTuber Jayden Gray filmed in disbelief when officers filed at his home, tilting five of his girlfriend in the kitchen and fining her for being in a home where she did not live.
Mr Gray also described how police covered the peephole and refused to announce who it was when the cautious 18-year-old refused to open the door until he knew who was on the other side of it.

‘If they were expecting a party, it did not make sense for everyone to enter the building. I live in an apartment on the top floor. If there was a party, we could not get out of the apartment, because we are not going to jump out.
“I feel like they’re trying to make a point,” the young man said, adding that “the way they handled it is not right.”
British police are not only going to “raves” and parties, but also small gatherings of less than a dozen people.
Gloucester police fined four people in a private home over the weekend for being from two different households, forcing six people to leave after the group met in an outside room.
The raid on the house in Stroud took place ‘following reports of a’ party ‘- indicating that a neighbor had notified it.
Britons appear largely in favor of the police state in Britain, with a plurality recently declaring that they do not think the forces have adequately cracked down on suspected authorities.
In a poll this week, it appears that almost half – 45 percent – will support the government in using cellphone data to track citizens’ movements to make sure they do not break the lock.
He described how an officer stuck his finger over the peephole and refused to respond to calls to identify themselves. “I would not open the door if they did not say who it was … I opened the door and greeted with aggression.” https://t.co/PJL5CXoUZi
