Kangaskhan, the older Pokémon, is one of the local Pokémon in Pokémon Go, but for certain events in the game like the Pokémon Go Tour: Kanto, it will appear in raids around the world.
If you do not live within the dedicated region of Kangaskhan, this is the perfect time to add this rare Pokémon to your collection by the weaknesses in a raid.
Kangaskhan is a three star attacking Pokémon, so it’s a good idea to work with other players to make sure you can defeat these Pokémon. Remember – you can use Remote Raid Passes to fight Kangaskhan from your own home!
In addition to Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Mewtwo, Kangaskan appeared during the Kanto Tournament in February 2021 and had to be captured to complete the corresponding Raid Collection Challenge.

How to catch Kangaskhan in Pokémon Go
Usually, Kangaskhan is an exclusive region in Australasia, where it will spawn in the wild.
However, it has appeared on various occasions since its debut in 2016, allowing other players to have access to their own region.
One such event is during the Tour Kanto event in February 2021, in which the players are tasked with capturing all 150 Pokémon within eight days.
During this event, Kangaskhan – along with co-exclusive Kanto Farfetch’d, mr. Mime and Tauros – in Raids on the main day on Saturday 20 February.
At the time of writing this is the only way to get Kangaskhan before the deadline of Raid Collection Challenge on February 28, 2021 – so you should prioritize catching it on the day before the event disappears.
