Pokémon’s diamond and pearl re-enactments are growing after Twitter account was tracked online

Pokémon’s diamond and pearl re-enactments are growing after Twitter account was tracked online

February 15, 2021 11:04 by NewsDesk

A private Twitter account has increased the speculation we are going to get Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes later this year. Fans have the “PokemonDP15 “Twitter Account earlier today a few hours after the Twitter account was activated. The Twitter account evoked memories of last year’s discovery of the SuperMario35th, which was a true Nintendo Twitter account created to promote various celebrations of Mario’s 35th year of existence. Fans also pointed this out Pokémon Diamond and Pearl is about to celebrate its 15th anniversary later this year, which explains the name of the account.

Although most rumors seem to indicate Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Remakes are a real thing, but many Pokémon fans believe this Twitter account is fake. It still seems convenient that the account was discovered less than a day after it was created and set up in the same way as the Super Mario 35th account. In addition, The Pokemon Company (which manages its social media separately from Nintendo) has never created a secondary Twitter account for a specific Pokémon game, such as the popular Pokémon Let’s Go games or the parent Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby games. It also seems strange that an account for the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes and not the broader celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise. Since The Pokemon Company puts everything out there for its 25th year of existence (including a pretty chock full of musical collaborations with the likes of Post Malone and Katy Perry), it seems odd that they only concentrate on the main series games and not .. .. everything else that they do this year.

Even if this Twitter account (as we suspect) is fake, there is more credible evidence that the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes com. Eagle-eyed observers spotted the domain diamondpearl.pokemon.com, resulting in a banned website made private by The Pokemon Company’s webmaster. There are also the plethora of different insiders who have confirmed that the games are coming, creating enough smoke to make most fans believe that there is definitely a Gen 4 remake fire behind it all.

While we wait for the confirmation of the next Pokémon games, there are still some celebrations that fans can look forward to. New Pokémon Snap is released in just over two months, and other merchandise collaborations and bindings are also planned throughout the year.
