Pokémon Unite gets development and beta test notification

We haven’t heard much about Pokémon Unite yet, as it was first announced for Switch and mobile last June, but The Pokémon Company has now shared a quick update.

Progress has been made since the unveiling of last summer as you would expect, although there is still work to be done. “More playable Pokémon have been added, changes and additions have been made to the game, the footage has improved, and much more,” says The Pokémon Company. “It is said that much remains to be done to ensure the best possible experience.”

To achieve this goal, the development team asks fans to take part in a regional beta test. This test is limited to Canada only and will take place in March, giving players the first opportunity to get started practically, though the beta test will be limited to Android devices.

If you want to participate, you can register on the Pokémon Unite Google Play Store page. Just make sure you meet the requirements below.

Fitness details:
The local beta test of Pokémon UNITE is only open to residents of Canada.
– Players must be at least 16 years old to participate.
– The progress within the game is restored after the beta is completed.
Capture or stream of play was not allowed during the local beta test.

Before today, the last we heard of the title consisted of a few screenshots posted in August, and a leak earlier this year that suggested you could dress up your Pokémon in a fun outfit.
