Pokémon presents the broadcast this morning amid rumors of remakes

The Pokemon Company has announced a video presentation of Pokemon Presents for Friday, February 26th. The show will air on the Pokémon YouTube channel at 07:00 in the Pacific / 10:00 in the East / 15:00 in the UK (this is 2 AEDT on 27 February). The Japanese Pokemon Twitter account suggests the show will last about 20 minutes.

The news comes after persistent rumors about the announcement of Pokemon Diamond & Pearl remakes, including repeated leaks Pokémon Center and said fans will not have to wait until February 27 for “big news they’ve been waiting for”, accompanied by images of legendary Pokémon introduced in Diamond and Pearl.

February 27 marks the 25th anniversary of the Pokémon series, which trusts the idea of an announcement – and one that looks back on the series’ past feels somewhat appropriate. However, all rumors should be taken with a grain of salt.

It seems likely we could also learn about as yet unreleased Pokémon games like New Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Sleep and the (somewhat controversial) Pokemon Unite.
