Pokémon Go Machop Community Day Guide: Beginning Times and Best Moves

Pokémon GoMachop Community Day takes place on January 16 from 11:00 to 17:00 in your local time.

As usual with Community Days, the popular Pokémon will appear a lot in nature, with a high chance that it will be shiny.

How do I get a shiny machine?

Since Machop will appear everywhere, just tap on every Machop you see until you get a shiny one. You will find one sooner or later, as the shiny rate on community days is increased to about one out of every 24 rate.

What special step does Machamp learn as it develops?

When it evolves from Jan. 11 to 11 a.m., Machamp will learn Payback. This dark type move has no effect on Machamp’s raids, but will use in PvP.

How do I get the most out of this community day?

Machop’s Community Day has a bonus that Stardust received when it captured Pokémon, so it’s worth upgrading a Star Piece if you capture the Pokémon to increase your profits even more.

The trade range will also be expanded to 40 kilometers from 15 January to 18 January. Trade with friends within the distance to get rid of the 100 Candy requirement to change Machoke to Machamp. Any Machoke you trade with will be able to develop without using candy, which is an excellent benefit for anyone who wants to build a strong Machamp team.

Machamp is the best with Teller and Dynamic punch for taking gyms and raids. Refund can be an OK move for PvP as it gives it a good combination with Ghost-like type Pokémon.

Try using one of the new search strings when deciding which Shiny Machop you want to develop. Sort ‘mons’ by “recent“Using the right icon and then tap”4 *In the search box at the top. This will let you know if you have a 100% IV Machop. Most people will not be so happy, and then you want to type “3 *In the search box, which will show you recent ‘mons’ of 80% or higher. Rate it to see which one is the best, and then develop your new partner!
