You will not find it in nature.
The Valentine’s Day of 2021 in Pokémon Go features a huge collection challenge that players must complete, asking trainers to find 12 different Pokémon before the event ends (check out our guide to see the full list).
One of the Pokémon that appears in this Collection Challenge is Alomomola, a water type Pokémon from the fifth generation of the Pokémon universe.
Alomomola is one of the trickier Pokémon to track down for this collection, as it cannot be found in the wild.
So, how do you catch it?
According to The Silph Road subreddit, Alomomola can be found in Tier-3 Raids and as a reward for two different field research tasks:
- Win 2 raids
- Vang 20 Luvdisc
If you decide to fight Alomomola in a Raid, keep in mind that you may need another player to help you, depending on your level of play and the strength of your Pokémon team.
Finally, even if you is strong enough to defeat Alomomola alone, we still recommend inviting your friends in the game to the Raid so they can get a chance to catch Alomomola for their own Collection Challenge.
Now that you know how to track Alomomola for the Valentine’s Day collection challenge, check out our other guides that can help you find Espeon and Umbreon.
