Earlier this week, versions of a new Poco X3 Pro were spotted at famous sweets. A release for this enhanced version of the Poco X3 NFC, which has been available for about half a year, seems immanent: it now appears in retailer lists, complete with a set of specifications. It’s mostly similar to the already released device, but the text bothers more RAM and storage and a Snapdragon SoC we’ve not heard of yet.

Both the pages of the Vietnamese online store Shopee and the screenshots of the store posted on Twitter were removed at the time of writing this article, but XDA developers have managed to grab some images and specifications. The versions of the phone look almost identical to the Poco X3 NFC, with an identical camera back and a 6.67-inch screen. But according to the store page, this enhanced version of the phone has an optional upgrade to 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage; the X3 NFC used only 6 GB and 64 or 128 GB of storage. The distinctive large logo on the back, 33 watt fast charge and the fingerprint scanner mounted on the button remain.

The most interesting is the “Snapdragon 860” SoC, a model that has not been used in any previous phones. Based on the Kryo 485 processor and Adreno 640 GPU in the specification list, it appears to be a smaller version of the 855+, with an identical maximum clock of 2.96 GHz. While it might be a bit outdated when it comes to flagship devices, it’s not a flagship phone: the X3 NFC runs on an affordable Snapdragon 732G and costs less than $ 300.

With the appearance of the phone and the guts leaking, you can expect to spot this model sooner rather than later in an official announcement. Expect the price to be somewhere in the $ 300-400 range.
