Control: Ultimate Edition is welcome, as there has been some controversy over the fact that this version is the only one that would get the next generation of upgrades. Those who bought the base game should buy Control again to get these improvements.
Control was our game of the year in 2019, and in our review we said ‘thanks to a strong supporting cast, a well-written text and many intriguing breadcrumb paths, I made my adventure through the moving rooms of Oldest House. Jesse’s personal story feels like an afterthought, but there’s enough in Control’s world that I’ll stay invested to uncover every secret, even if the story is over. ‘Concrete Genie was released on PS4 in 2019, and in our review we said, “In short, very sweet, Concrete Genie is an enchanting experiment in player creativity.”
Concrete Genie also features two additional modes designed for PS VR.
