PlayStation players discover secret PS5 DualSense control feature

The PS5 has been out since November, but PlayStation players on Reddit are still discovering features that many have overlooked. With the Xbox Series X, Xbox gamers had no adjustment period, and that’s because the Xbox Series X UI is the same as the Xbox One UI and that the Xbox Series X controller is actually the same as the Xbox One controller. For the PS5, Sony not only completely redesigned the PS4 user interface, but also released a brand new controller that is so different that it broke the company’s DualShock naming convention. In other words, PlayStation players are still learning things about their PS5. For example, holding the PS button on the DualSense controller for ten seconds will disable the controller.

This is not the only DualSense feature that many players have overlooked. Do you know that you can mute all sound if you hold the controller’s mute button for a few seconds? If you did not do this, do not worry, many of the PS5 Reddit pages had no idea if any of these features existed, and that’s because the PS5 does not transmit any of this information.

Of course, it’s quite possible that you both already knew these handy features, but since the Reddit message that appears at the top of the page, it’s safe to assume that most of you who read it are not from one of did not know these shortcuts. , like all one of the 400 people who commented on the post.

As always, feel free to leave a comment or two to let us know what you think, or hit me up on Twitter @Tyler_Fischer_ and let me know there. Did you know about these two DualSense features?
