Further on Reddit, one PlayStation player has discovered an ingenious and easy way to customize the PS5. All that is needed is a post-it note and a PS5. Of course, the latter is almost impossible to find at the moment, but everyone has the former. Once you have both of these items, you will need to cut the post-it note into a t-shape and paste it under the logo on the corner of the console. If you do it right, it will transform the PlayStation logo on the console into the color of the post-it note. This is obviously not the greatest makeup, but it does allow you to bring color to the console, and unlike most changes, there is no risk involved.
As you might expect, this ingenious discovery shot to the top of the PS5 Reddit page, with 77k votes up and almost 1000 comments. Of course, the discovery was made by ‘Try2GetFamous’, who shared the image below with a brief description of how to copy the trick.
Unlike many other modifications of the console that are done to customize, this one will also not invalidate the warranty, which is very important. Not only has the PS5 had a lot of issues since its launch, but it’s in its infancy, so who knows how it will hold up.
At the time of publication, Sony has not announced any additional PS5 models, which means that if you want the next generation machine, you have to deal with the standard white-and-black design.
