Plays that bring wet weather to Central Florida

Sunday was the start of a multi-day rain event as the setup becomes favorable for numerous showers and built-in storms for Central Florida.

A weak stationary front will still meander overhead and until Tuesday will be the main trigger mechanism for showers and storms. Long-range models show the peak rain cover moving in during the first half of the work week.

Rain chances starting Sunday will favor northern provinces earlier, with a greater risk of showers and storms further south along the Interstate 4 corridor until noon.
