Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville comes to Switch in March

Plants vs zombies: Battle for Neighborville comes to the Nintendo Switch on March 19th with a new full edition.

A news release from Electronic Arts states that this is the first game developed for Switch with the company Frostbite Engine.

‘We are excited to bring everyone’s favorite Plants vs zombies characters for the first time to Nintendo Switch, which gives players the ability to play in their homes or on the go, however they want, ”said Melvin Teo, producer of PopCap Vancouver. “With the Switch’s motion control panel, we can retry Neighborville, and with its fixed and portable gameplay, we have the ability to bring the game and its characters to life in ways not previously possible.”

Plants vs. Zombies: Fight for Neighborville is the third game in PopCap Vancouver’s Garden Warfare twist. It was launched in October 2019 on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One and a year later it is the last update of the game. With the full version coming with Nintendo Switch, players can unlock all the customization content and characters from the original game, which was introduced in a seasonal model.

The Switch version is being co-developed by the Polish studio QLOC.
