The New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons get a foothold with a potential trade involved veteran point guard Derrick Rose. Rose currently has a two-year, $ 15 million deal that expires after the current season, which makes the idea that New York will trade a young player very interesting.
With Elfrid Payton playing well and Immanuel Quickley having an immediate impact on offense, the trade for Rose could be tumultuous for the development of the young point guard and the disruption of Payton’s consistency.
