The royal family celebrates good news.
Pippa Middleton gave birth to her second child on Monday, a daughter named Grace Elizabeth Jane, according to a family source at Page Six.
Baby Grace was born at 04:22 and weighed 7 pounds. Pippa, 37, and husband James Matthews also have a 2-year-old son named Arthur.
“Everyone is past the moon,” the source said of the new arrival, adding that it was such “glorious news”.
Grace’s birth comes on the heels of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey. In the interview, Markle Middleton’s older sister, Kate Middleton, accused her of making her cry before her 2018 wedding to Harry.
Without mentioning specific names, Markle and Harry also claimed that the royal family had a discussion about ‘how dark’ Archie’s son’s skin would be when he was born.
Pippa and Matthews are getting married in 2017.
While Markle was dating Harry at the time, she skipped the wedding just because she was afraid she would have her own “Pippa moment”, according to the 2020 biography, “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making” of a modern royal family. Pippa’s famously stole the show at Kate and Prince William’s wedding in 2011.
