Piers Morgan wants to ask Meghan Markle ‘more difficult questions’ after accusations against the royal family

Piers Morgan is willing to talk to Meghan Markle.

The television personality (56) made headlines about a month ago when he voiced intense criticism over Markle and Prince Harry’s allegations against the royal family in their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The consequences of his criticism included that he stormed the set of ‘Good Morning Britain’ after being shouted at because of his constantly negative view of the Duchess before announcing that he would not return to the day program.

He was defended online by Sharon Osbourne, who subsequently left ‘The Talk’ after receiving criticism for eventually making his comments possible, which many considered racist.

As the drama surrounding the incident subsided, Morgan revealed what he would say to Markle, 39, if they spoke.

“I would say to Meghan Markle, ‘Look, sit down with my husband for an equally long interview … and let me ask harder questions about all your demands,'” he told Extra. ‘But let me ask you a broader question: this is: if you hate the royal family so much, why do you keep your royal titles? Why do you call yourself the Duke and Duchess of Sussex? Why would you do that if it’s just not worth millions and millions of dollars? ‘

He added: “And to play the victim like you is, to be honest, nauseous.”

After the royal interview, Morgan said on the air that he did not believe the allegations they made, including accusations of racism by the royal family and the revelation that Markle had suicidal thoughts as a result of intense media coverage.

‘Good Morning Britain’ has complained about his comments, and it has been reported that Markle was among those to do so – according to reports even an ITV manager to discuss the matter.

Morgan said he was unaware that Markle had contacted his employer before leaving the program.

“It was definitely a very interesting revelation of where I was sitting because she was clearly trying to put a lot of pressure on my bosses to act against me,” he said.

He further said the allegations came from “an online crowd” which he accused of “abusing” his sons and “issuing death threats to them”.

“The idea that my sons should be targeted by so-called liberals in a way that threatens them, insults and death threats and so on is completely disgusting,” Morgan said.

He also addressed the drama surrounding Osbourne, who starred co-host Sheryl Underwood as she tried to explain why Morgan’s views could be seen as racist and why Osbourne’s support could be considered as possible.

“Look what happened to Sharon on ‘The Talk’ because she defended me and my right to an opinion, even though she made it clear that she did not agree with everything I said,” he said. “She was then targeted by Sheryl Underwood on ‘The Talk’ and she is accused of supporting someone who said racist things.”

Morgan insisted that his unbelieving Markle was not racist and that Underwood – not Osbourne – should be the co-host to lose her day job because she falsely accused. [him] of racism. ‘

“The only thing I would have done differently – I would not have walked in the middle of the show like I did,” he added. “I don’t think Americans realize it was just a few minutes and I went in again and did another two hours of the program.”
