Piers Morgan, the belligerent former host of ‘Good Morning Britain’, fired his latest broadside and apologized for the CBS show ‘The Talk’.

On Friday, hours after his friend Sharon Osbourne clarified her position following allegations of racism over ‘The Talk’, which she co-hosts, Morgan came to her defense.

“Sharon is ashamed and bullied to apologize for defending me against colleagues who accuse me of racism because I do not believe Meghan Markle’s bullsh * t,” Morgan tweeted. “This is where we have reached. I apologize to the @TheTalkCBS bullies for their shameful insults against ME. ”

Osbourne tweeted earlier: ‘After some thought, after sitting down with your comments and sitting with my heart, I want to address the discussion on’ The Talk ‘this past Wednesday. I have always been embraced with so much love and support from the black community and I have deep respect and love for the black community. I’m very sorry for anyone of color I offended and / or for anyone who feels confused or let down by what I said.

‘I panicked, went blind, defended and allowed my fears and horrors of being accused of being racist to take over. There are very few things that have hurt my heart, more than racism, so I quickly relate to it! I’m not perfect, I’m still learning like the rest of us and will keep learning, listening and doing better.

‘Please hear me say that I do not approve of racism, misogyny or bullying. I should have been more specific about it in my tweet. I will always support freedom of speech, but now I see how I unintentionally did not make the clear distinction.

“I hope that together we can continue to learn from each other and from ourselves, so that we can all pave the way for much-needed growth and change. The community on this platform means a lot to me. I hope we can all address each other with accountability, compassion and love during this powerful time to pave the way for so much needed change. ”

Osbourne was among those who publicly defended Morgan following his remarks about Meghan Markle and the subsequent exit from ITV’s ‘Good Morning Britain’.

“I’m with you. I stand by you. People forget that you are paid for your opinion and that you only speak your truth,” Osbourne tweeted.
