PHOTOS, VIDEO: Guide to Visiting All Four Parks with Modified Park Hopping at Walt Disney World

Park Hopping is back at Walt Disney World Resort today, albeit a little different than it used to be. Guests can now start a second park at 2pm, provided they have visited the park for which their initial Disney Park Pass was. This morning we set out all the new information regarding Park Hopping. Now that we’ve Park Hopped, here’s all you need to know.

For Park Hopping

Even before Park Hopper hours started today, there were signs at the theme parks with information regarding the new system. For now, Park Hopper hours are 2pm until the park closes, but that can change at any time. Make sure you double check the parks hours before trying Park Hop. You can see the published hours of this week here.

Guests wishing to book Park Hop must have a Disney Park Pass reservation for the first theme park they plan to visit and they must enter that theme park before visiting another. We visited Magic Kingdom this morning with our Park Pass and then left for our second park in the afternoon.

Buspark Hopping

We park by bus from Magic Kingdom to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Currently, Gate 8 is going to EPCOT, Gate 7 is going to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Gate 6 is going to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

This is the first time that park-to-park bus service has been available since the parks reopened in July. To board a park-to-park bus, you must have a valid ticket or pass with Park Hopper benefits.

A cast split our MagicBand to make sure we were allowed to allow Park Hop.

Past members at a park-to-park bus stop will be able to tell you if the second park you want to visit is in force. You can also ask Guest Relations or call the headphones at (407) 560-5000.

We had to wait a few minutes for a bus. The lines are socially removed and use multiple gates for one row.

They stopped a second bus because they knew a lot of people would be Park Hopping at 2 p.m.

Watch our video of the whole process at the bus stop below.

Remember that once you have left your first park, you may not be able to access it again when it reaches capacity.

If you drive and forget to check the capacity before you leave, the toll plaza members in your second park can tell you if the park has capacity.

Visit more parks

After a quick look at Disney’s Hollywood studios, we park to EPCOT! We heard that you could now visit all four parks in one day, but we wanted to make sure.

We took the bus from Disney’s Hollywood Studios to EPCOT. Although not advertised as a Park Hopping option, guests can also use the Disney Skyliner to get between these two parks.

Unfortunately, if you are on your way from Magic Kingdom to EPCOT, the EPCOT monorail line is not yet available.

Eventually we left EPCOT so we could visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom before the day ended.
