Known for his dramatic body changes for film projects, Christian Bale was photographed with a new look for ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ while in Sydney this week.
The actor spent a day with his family on Palm Beach, and the 47-year-old man’s head was completely shaved for his role as the film’s villain, Gorr the God Butcher. Bale has also had a much slimmer appearance than some of his other recent projects such as ‘Vice’.
The supervillain grew up on an arid planet and after his family died and he lost his faith in gods, he finally promised to kill everyone after learning of their existence.
Taika Waititi is directing the film, which also stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Tessa Thompson. ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ will be released on May 6, 2022.
