Reed said that different parts of the state go through different phases 1 and 2 through Oklahomans, and therefore the state may be eligible for those in phase 3.

‘As some of the capacities are available in the state, that’s our reason for opening up more,’ ‘Reed said.

Reed has encouraged all Oklahomans to schedule an appointment as soon as it is available to you. The state said the door is open to all people in previous groups and reiterated that it is an overlapping plan aimed at giving as many Oklahomans access to the vaccine as possible.

Both Reed and dr. Lance Frye insists on being vigilant, even as numbers fall and vaccinations increase in the state.

“COVID is still dangerous. We are concerned that people are letting their guards down. Every life is precious, so we must all remain vigilant,” Reed said.
