A day after Pennsylvania announced plans to reinstate the coronavirus restrictions on April 4, Philadelphia’s top health official said he was not yet ready to commit to the same grants as the state.

The city will again accept acceptance of permit applications for major outdoor events, but City Commissioner Dr Thomas Farley said he was not yet willing to commit to the same relief from COVID-19 restrictions as the state do not have.

Pennsylvania said it will expand indoor dining to 75% next month and allow bar service in pubs and restaurants without the need for food purchases. A bell at 23:00 is also lifted.
