PHILADELPHIA – Even with a skeleton crew around him, Philadelphia Eagles rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts still finds a way to be a playmaker.

Hurts took possession in the background several times in the second quarter of Sunday’s final season against the Washington Football Team.

This makes Hurts the first Eagles fullback with two stormy TDs in a game since 2010 when Michael Vick scored against the same Washington team on Monday night football. As it so happens, Hurts wore a Vick jersey Sunday night.

The first power play for Hurts was a scramble of 6 yards along the right sideline with 10:24 left in the first half. A little over six minutes later, he pulled up in the middle when the bag collapsed and found the end zone again.

Hurts now have three stormy TDs to deal with six passing touchdowns this season.

The Eagles played just three of their original attacking starters on Sunday. Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery and quarterback Carson Wentz were both healthy scrapes, and Miles Sanders, wide receiver DeSean Jackson and tighthead Dallas Goedert were out due to injury.
