PGA will not realize championship 2022 in Trump golf course

(CNN Business) – The 2022 PGA Championship will not be played at the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey, according to an announcement from PGA President Jim Richerson at night.

“The Junction of the PGA of America Vote this night to own the right to reconsider the agreement to play the 2022 PGA Championship at Trump Bedminster,” Richerson said in a written statement.

The PGA Championship is one of the “major” team in the professional golf course, the most prestigious team in the professional golf calendar.

“It has become clear that the PGA Champion in Trump Bedminster will be sentenced to death for the PGA brand in America, undermining the PGA’s capacity to offer our numerous programs and maintain the longevity of our mission,” Richerson said a message in video. “There is an empty decision to make sure that the PGA of America and the PGA Professionals can continue to lead and create our great game in the next decades”.

The decision was taken after the violence last week against the United States Capitol by President Donald Trump’s party members.

The Trump Organization said in a statement that it had dominated the night before the decision to withdraw the PGA 2022 Champions League Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey “is a violation of a winning contract and has no right to rescind the agreement”.

The PGA of America has not announced a replacement camp to host the tournament, which will take place in May 2022.
