Peter Brant Jr., 27, commemorates late brother Harry after tragic overdose death of model

Peter Brant Jr. paid tribute to his late brother Harry on Thursday after a 24-year-old accidental overdose.

The 27-year-old wrote a poignant message on Instagram along with a recording of Harry being taken with model Gaia Matisse on Sunday.

He wrote, “Today we rest and honor the life of my brother, a true angel of light, an extraordinary unique soul unlike those who came before.”

In the photo, Harry and Matisse relax in maroon velvet outfits on top of a large flower deck. Peter said of the statue: “This picture taken on his last day shows the eternal beauty that he will hold forever.”

The model opened up about his grief over his brother and the close relationship they shared.

He continues: ‘It is impossible to express the devastation over the loss of someone with whom I not only shared a lifetime of beautiful memories, but also with someone who cared so deeply for my own happiness, was so devoted to my personal comfort, ‘Peter wrote. ‘It’s not just the loss of a brother, but of a best friend, my other half.
