Peru decrees mandatory quarantine for travelers traveling to the country

(CNN Español) –– The governor of Peru decrees that all persons entering the country from the 4th of January should complete 14 days of compulsory quarantine.

This article was published in the Official Journal El Peruano and his objective is to avoid the propagation of new variants of covid-19. In this sense, the quarantine will apply to all travelers in Peru, including citizens or foreigners.

The Supreme Decree establishes that the persons entering the country by way of international transport shall establish the quarantine in their home, in the Villa Panamericana and another center of temporary Islam, or in a hospice, first coordination with the sanitary authority.

In the same way, the future travelers of countries where new variants of coronavirus have been detected, they will take an antigen test. This is at the moment of its release in the Netherlands.

Now, in the case of those that have a different destination, there will be elusive ways to perform the analysis.

In case of positive, the contagious members should complete an Islamic obligation of 14 days. The quarantine that takes place in Villa Panamericana is another center of temporal Islam.
