Special guests at the event including the Minister of External Relations Roberto Álvarez; the director of the Center for Emergency Operations (COE), retired mayor Juan Manuel Méndez; the President of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmchamDR) Ramón Ortega; the former Director-General of the National Police, Retired Mayor-General Ney Aldrin Bautista and the Alcalde of Santiago de los Caballeros, Abel Martínez; Andrea Camacho, Director of the Unit of Violence of the General of the Procuraduria.

Robin Bernstein was sentenced on July 3, 2018 as ambassador of the United States to the Dominican Republic. Prior to his diplomatic appointment, he was promoted as President and CEO of Richard S. Bernstein at Associates, Inc. as Vice President and Director of Rizbur, Inc., Ambassador of West Palm Beach, Florida, has his resignation, according to his confirmation by the Senate of the United States.
During his mission as Ambassador, Robin Bernstein was accompanied by his wife, Richard Bernstein, and one of his employees, Julia Bernstein.
