Persona 5 Strikers’ action game is straightforward fun

Persona 5 Strikers is not your average Person games. Yes, this is a true sequel to the hit JRPG Person 5. But this time Stakers omits the franchise’s well-known and most beloved traditional, turn-based RPG fighting system for a heel-and-stripe musou-style action game.

Initially, I was a little skeptical about Stakers‘jump into action. I dig traditional RPGs in turn, with all the battles in the glistening pace. But Stakers won me over. Atlus has created an action-RPG style of play similar to Final Fantasy VII Remake, but came to 11. I enjoyed destroying the enemy’s shadows with the leader Joker, and then seamlessly switching to Queen for a fist-style. Stakers combine this new action game with Person 5‘s super-distinctive anime art style and (sometimes bad feeling) daily quest if you’ve out of the Metaverse.

Watch the video above to hear about my favorite thieves storming the first jail –Stakers‘term for dungeons. For people who played and enjoyed Person 5 properly, please do not hesitate to give this strange spin-off a chance. I had a lot of fun meeting the old gang and destroying shadows again.
