Jody Thompson, a 50-year-old media consultant in London, told The Sun on Monday that the candle was burning in her home after she won the prize as a prize for an online quiz.

Thompson and her partner, David Snow, worked together to deal with the situation and decided to throw the candle outside their home.

Thompson did not provide details on how her candle ‘exploded’. However, there is a warning on the Goop website only to ‘burn candle in sight’ and ‘keep away from flaming things’. The statement also advises cutting off the “fuse to 1/8” before each exposure, “placing it on a stable heat-resistant surface” and not “burning” for more than two hours at a time. “
