Penguins make plenty of roster moves ahead of Thursday night’s game against Boston

Before tonight’s game against the Boston Bruins, the Penguins made a number of positions.

Defender Kevin Czuczman was recalled in an emergency and Sam Lafferty was recalled from the taxi team.

The interim general manager, Patrik Allvin, announced the news.

Anthony Angello, Frederick Gaudreau, Will Reilly and Yannick Weber were all named in the taxi team.

Weber was signed on Wednesday for a one-year contract but could not make it to Boston and is expected to join the team in New York next weekend.

Some grid movements related to injuries have also been announced.

Zach Aston-Reese was placed on a long-term injured reserve on January 13 with a retroactive date.

Juuso Riikola has been placed on a long-term injured reserve with a retroactive date of 19 January.

Evan Rodrigues has been placed on a long-term injured reserve with a retroactive date of January 24.

Marcus Pettersson was placed on a regular injured reserve.

The Penguins will run off with the Bruins at TD Garden at 19:00.
