PEN15 stars Anna Konkle and Maya Erskine are pregnant at the same time: ‘BFF’s make some future bffs’
They are co-creators, co-executives and play as fictional versions of their 13-year-old self in the Hulu series PEN15.
And now the BFF’s Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle are simultaneously playing the roles of soon-to-be first mothers, following Konkle’s announcement that she is pregnant and ready to give birth soon.
“It only took me nine months to post, but the family is now expanding any second,” Konkle, 33, wrote in a series of photos she shared on Instagram on Thursday, January 28th.

Konkle shared the news by posting several photos, starting with a sweet selfie of herself and partner Alex Anfanger flickering with a big smile while she was in a winter wonderland of snow.
There’s another image showing the family’s pet head resting near her budding baby bump.
The actress, who played two seasons in the police drama Rosewood (2015-2017), also turned her baby bump into a third photo where she was hanging out with Beginner and their four-legged family member.

To make the news sink in, Erskine waited until Friday to share the news on her Instagram page by posting a series of photos taken during a hangout between the two longtime friends.
They turn to their sides and look at their baby bump in one picture with the caption: ‘Two little potatoes’.
On this day, they both wear almost the same comfortable ensemble of black leggings and a black top; just Erskine covered with a gray t-shirt and a baseball cap.
While the COVID-19 pandemic was still raging, both ladies wore protective masks over their mouths and noses during the gathering, with the exception of a brief moment where they took off their cover for a photo.

Erskine, who starred in the FXX romantic comedy series Man Seeking Woman (2015) and the HBO comedy drama series Insecure (2016-2017), confirmed she was pregnant and engaged to her partner, actor Michael Angarano, in early November.

The first seven episodes of the second season of PEN15 premiered in September 2020. So far, there is no official word on the remaining seven episodes.
