NORTHGLENN, Colo. A female pedestrian was killed when police said a reckless SUV driver struck her before crashing into a fence in Northglenn on Saturday morning. The male driver was arrested.
It happened around 11:40 a.m. in the 10400 block of Washington Street.
Officials responding to the crash spotted the SUV in the fence at Muriel Drive and Washington Street. Officers blocked the SUV and arrested one male suspect, according to a Northglenn police statement.
The female victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity was not disclosed.
