Paul Pierce, Chris Bosh and Chris Webber, among the finalists at the Salon of the Naismith Memorial

Paul Pierce, Chris Bosh, Chris Webber, Michael Cooper, Lauren Jackson, Ben Wallace and Yolanda Griffith meet among the finalists of the 2021 class of the Salon de Fama del Baloncesto Naismith Memorial, announced on March in The Jump, by ESPN.

Also named finalist in this year’s class: Coach Rick Adelman, the newest coach with more victories in NBA history; Villanova coach Jay Wright, two former NCAA champions; coach Marianne Stanley, who led Old Dominion to a NCAA title in 1985; Coach Leta Andrews, the second-time second-team coach, will beat him.

NBA legend Bill Russell is also a finalist, but in this case as a coach. Russell, who was admitted as a player in 1975, was the first African-American coach in the NBA and led the Celtics to consecutive championships in 1968 and 1969.
