The Patriots and Texans agreed to a deal.

The attacking suit Marcus Cannon, who has played his entire career in New England, is reportedly being traded to Houston for a swap of concepts.

The move comes days after the Patriots traded for the offensive tackle from Trent Brown of the Raiders. That move cost Cannon.

The Texans tried to improve their offense. They may be hoping that a better line will make fullback Deshaun Watson more willing to play for them.

Cannon, a cancer survivor, did not choose the 2020 season due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic.
