Patrick Mahomes surrendered an offense in 30 consecutive games, while the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback extended his NFL series with a three-yard pass to Mecole Hardman in the second quarter of the AFC Championship against the Buffalo Bills. Mahomes is the first quarter since Andrew Luck to have a pass rate of 30 or more games, as Luck had 33 games on a live basis with a touchdown pace from 2015 to 2018.

Mahomes is only the 12th fullback in NFL history with 30 or more consecutive games with a pass rate (regular season and post-season). Drew Brees is the only quarterback to score twice, reaching the NFL record of 60 games straight with a hit from 2009 to 2012 and also a streak of 47 from 2012 to 2015.

Here are the twelve fullbacks who have attacked in 30 or more consecutive games:

  1. Drew Brees (Saints) – 60
  2. Peyton Manning (Colts, Broncos) – 56
  3. Johnny Unitas (Colts) – 49
  4. Drew Brees (Saints) – 47
  5. Brett Favre (packers) – 39
  6. Tony Romo (Cowboys) – 38
  7. Tom Brady (Patriots) – 37
  8. Andrew Luck (Colts) – 33
  9. Matt Ryan (Valke) – 33
  10. Dan Marino (dolphins) – 32
  11. Ben Roethlisberger (Steelers) – 31
  12. Philip Rivers (Chargers) – 30
  13. Patrick Mahomes (Chiefs) – 30

Mahomes has 15 strokes out of his career after the season, linking Kurt Warner in the first four seasons in NFL history with a quarterback with the second-best, and only for Russell Wilson (16). He is the first quarterback to ever start three consecutive conference championship games in his first four NFL seasons.
